Since 2004, our founder, Devon Underwood, had been in charge of the talent acquisition strategy for various companies. As an HR insider, Devon knew that the way things were done had grown stale. Executive recruiters did things the same way they had been doing them for well over two decades, despite transformative changes in the industry. Devon perceived multiple problems:

It was time to shake things up. In 2013, Devon founded the Talent Store with the vision of changing how recruitment works. The Talent Store focuses on developing a deep, authentic understanding of both the client company and each candidate, taking the approach of a matchmaking service that strives for long-term harmony. This reimagined talent acquisition strategy places genuine human connections at the forefront and prioritizes wholly customizable solutions for clients.
